WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BE A VOLUNTEER?

On going field placement internships are usually arranged by the school. Internship is usually arranged by the school. Internships are limited for one-on-one supervision by HOTCADA staff. Criminal background checks are required. A business casual dress code is also required.

HOTCADA does not currently utilize temporary volunteers except for special events. Special events volunteers must provide their own transportation to the event and planning sessions.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS

HOTCADA offers field placement student the opportunity to work in a professional counseling atmosphere where screening, assessment, crisis where screening, assessment, crisis counseling and referring is in progress.

You will have an opportunity to be introduced and become familiar with service providers. You will also be introduced to and learn drug prevention techniques and become familiar with youth drug prevention programs.
